TEACH YOURSELF THE GOOD LIFE is our on-line correspondence course. It is designed to operate in "frames only" sorry.It takes you through many parts of the Bible, and shows that there are real answers to the problems of life. We offer to you a whole new way of living!
Because you may not have a Bible of your own, the parts of the Bible to be studied are included in each lesson.
The course is available by surface post, but takes much longer.
There are five sections in this course. They will show you many interesting subjects, and bring to you exciting possibilities for your life. Each course has to be taken in order, but you can take the lessons over a period.
At each lesson you will shown a page with "WORDS FROM THE BIBLE."After you have read it click on the "Question link," these will be displayed along with the "WORDS FROM THE BIBLE."
If you have not found the answer, read the WORDS FROM THE BIBLE again. In most cases the answers will be found in this text. On completion of the questions, enter your name etc. and click on "send information". You will see a copy of the email with your answers that we have received. Use your "back key" to allow you to go onto the next lesson.At the end of each WORDS FROM THE BIBLE section, there are 'NOTES TO HELP YOU'. These explain some of the words in that section. At the end of some of the lesson questions there are "questions to think about", you will not lose marks if you do not answer these but we would like you to answer to prove that you have understood the lesson.
INTRODUCTION
The Bible is a big book, and some things in it can be hard to understand. The Bible version used in this course is a special translations into easy English. This translation uses about 1500 of root English words, it is designed to help people learning English or speaking it as a second language. The course is also written in this easy English. However, even if your English is very good, we hope that you will enjoy the studying!Different parts of the Bible are brought together for you to study. Most of these parts are from the 'New Testament' section, called the 'Injil' in many parts of the world. After each section, is a reference in brackets showing the book of the Bible it was taken from, and the chapter and verse.
