Great Grandmother's Visit
Great Grandma came to visit us,
But, my Grandma killed a chicken
So, we feasted. But, Great Grandma
With her hair all shiny silver
It was cold, and in the winter,
She told me, "Put your toesies
She told me tales of Joseph
Then, she told me that she often stayed up,
She recited poems she'd written
What a different world I live in,
