| Love Bike by Scott Morie |
|
Love is a lot like riding a bike; It is a pulsating cadence; It is an erratic cantor; It's a series of slow up hills; And fast down hills; It leaves you breathless; And can leave you gasping for air; It releases endorphins; And can create a euphoric rush; It creates pain; Yet also can feel quite good at the same time; You get blown around occasionally; You can become a tangled mess; You can get skinned to the bone; It can be a heated passion; And a cold that burns; You can get caught in turbulent storms; You can be blinded by what you perceive; It requires maintenance and pampering; Love is a lot like riding a bike; And if you listen really hard; God speaks to you; Through nature's pain and glory. |
