| Lavender |
|
Sometimes we're trapped in fantasies, And sifted from the present day A chasm breaks the heart and mind. The heart will seek its own to please, In lands of lovely shadows stray, Until the shadows make it blind. But oh, the flavour of romance! The heart is longing to be filled, To taste imagination's feast- But do not fall into that trance! The glory of your heart will spill The moment shadows are released. So reach instead for true delight That lays this side of fantasy, And find the plan God has for you- For lavender is clear in sight Of those who will but choose to see- As God's dreams are becoming true! |
