A Cowboy
A Cowboy is a special breed.
He's a man, both tough and wise.
If you want to know what's on his mind,
You can read it in his eyes.

A cowboy's eyes show experience
And years of dreams and wants.
But, they hide all the deepest pain;
A ghost of the past that haunts.

The Cowboy rides with graceful ease,
Out, across the lone prairie;
Dust devils dancing, in his wake,
Prairie dancers, as far as the eye can see.

A Cowboy's a drifter, with only a horse
And a spirit that'll never be broken.
Yet tears can glisten on a tan-leather face,
About words that will never be spoken.

Yes, a Cowboy is a special breed,
As he rides like the wind.
In his own way, he's a legend,
With only his horse for a friend.
