Poems

Because I loved you so
The teardrop glittered brightly,
As from here eye it fell.
Her heart was crushed and broken;
Her life a living hell.

No one loved this lonely girl.
She wished that she could die.
There was no one to tell her not to,
Or even to tell her why.

Then a voice was heard to say,
"I love you. Didn't you know?
I shed my precious blood for you,
Because I loved you so.

I was hated, cursed, and beat.
But, I did it all for you,
So I could carry your burdens
And love you the way I do."
