Mary had a little child,
So good and kind was He.
Mary's heart filled with pride.
He was the son of God, you see.

Mary had a young man,
Who brought salvation, from above;
Born to save us from our sins
And fill our hearts with love.

Mary had a Savior.
Though, He was born to be a King.
He would always be Mary's child
And much happiness He would bring.

My mother, Mary, has a child
She loves with all her heart.
Someday, this child will be blessed.
She knew it from the start.
