| Jesus Himself |
|
Jesus, Himself, drew near. For, He wanted to walk with them; Not ahead, not behind - But so we can find Jesus, the dearest friend. Jesus, Himself, talks to me. He wants relationship. He draws very near. For, He holds me so dear. He likes my companionship. Jesus, Himself, loves my heart. For, He created my soul. He loves me, all through, Form He made me new, In Him, I'm perfectly whole. Jesus, Himself, keeps me safe. In Him, I always abide. Though buffeted sore, He loved me the more. When taking my sin, He died. Jesus, Himself, gives me breath. By His mighty power, I live. He, alone, is my all. On Him I can call. Whatever I need He will give. Jesus, Himself, takes me home By His blood, shed at Calvary. My future is secure Because I am pure. I will be accepted in heaven eternally. |
