| An Arrow into My Heart |
| He shot his arrow into my heart . . . The message said let us never part. We fell in love that awesome day When I let your message, in my heart stay. It caused my heart to ache, for only thee And for a lifetime together we'd be. My heart beats faster, when I know That where you are, I shall go. The trees bow, unto our sweet love As we swing beneath the limbs above. Surely all the world must know Who causes my heart to have this glow Cupid dealt a Mighty blow that will not part, As he pierced the core, of my beating heart. He asks that I be his sweet valentine Walk with him through life, for all time. We planned a wedding ...surely we did wed We stated our love in all that we said. Your arrow said, come walk through life with me, Hold my hand forever my love to be. Though its been many years since your arrow Pierced my heart with true love for every 'morrow. As we've risen through the years at every dawn Our hearts touch as, through life we walk on. |
