| He's My Strength |
| I lie in my bed at night and looking up at the stars, I can clearly see The Glory of all the Universe, with God looking down at you and me. He is my strength, my foundation upon this old earth today And I find Him, every time I need Him, as in my heart I start to Pray. He gives us the courage to bear a cross, but we can take His yoke upon us With all the promises made, when He bore an old Cross. His name was Jesus. There is nothing too great for his strength; His Son covered everyone When we just make up our mind and heart, to go to the Father through the Son. He is so willing we should come to Him today, Its still not too late So come to the Cross along side Jesus, don't make Him too long, to wait. When we have problems gone unsolved, we should not worry and fret, Jesus has ever been there for all these years, He is still there, yet. My heart skips a beat when I hear His sweet voice inside my heart each day, Telling me to stop and wait. He will surely help me find, the elusive way. When I think of how the Temple was rent in twain and the earth did quake, I know I have the strength of a Savior who, if He chose, the mountains would awake. To see His fiery armor, as He does the things for His children of this world With His arms stretched forward to His loving children, all unfurled. He is my Strength; He is my honor. If any have honor, it is from this Jesus Who's choice was to hang on a Cross upon a hill, all so He could save us. |
