Poems

He Stood Alone
That day at Calvary, He stood alone
Insuring me that I'd have a new found home
Up in Glory, one fine day when He descended
Plus all my sins He forgave and I amended.

This man is Jesus, alone He bore it all that day
That come tomorrow, I'd be able to go His way.
He's my Savior, yours too, don't you know
That where He goes, there, we too, will go?
Jesus on the cross
He must have been lonely and full of dread
Though He knew he was appointed to stay until dead,
For the atonement of all our sins, to be washed away
Jesus died for you and I on that awesome day.
But He'll come back again, He said He would . . .
And there was never a doubt, but that He could.
He'll come back to take us to Heavens sweet shore,
Where there, we'll abide with Him, forevermore.
