In The Light
As I sit here gazing at the day, so wonderfully fair and bright,
I think of all the blessings' Thou hast given Lord, even unto the night,
The moon's lovely softness, likened unto a golden glow,
The twinkling stars, Thou hast made Lord and the gentle wind to blow.

You must have an abundance of love to give dear Lord, each day,
All the beauty to behold, the beauty of the flower, Lord you send our way,
The snow-cap upon the mountain top, gently flowing into a stream,
Makes me stop and thank Thee Lord, for this sweet Heavenly dream.

Looking at the valleys green, watching the sheep grazing over there,
A shepherd gently tapping one, lovingly as he talks to Thee in Prayer,
Knowing Thou art always they're with him, helping him through the day,
Keeping his sheep safely as you keep Thine own sheep in a wonderfully loving way.

I'm always in the light Lord, even when the sun doesn't shine,
Ever in Thy keeping, through this wonderful Savior of all mankind.
Thou art always our loving shepherd, watching out for valleys green,
Looking for any obstacle, which might be lurking, quite unseen.

Lord, I Pray Thee, keep me in the light now and even on forever,
Let me bask in Thy sweet love and Lord, please not my soul to sever,
For I do confess, Thou art my living Savior, here in the valley green,
And as climbing upon the mountain top, in my heart Thy light I have seen.
