| May I Introduce You? |
|
May I introduce you to the dearest friend of mine? He walks with me and talks with me, most all the time. He's the living Saviour, who came to ease our woe, And He'll always stay with you. He'll never let you go. If you'll only trust Him, give Him all your heart, He will never leave you; never let you part. He came down, to this old earth, to die on that old cross. Our sins He gladly paid, that we might not suffer loss. They looked at the tomb to find Him. But, He wasn't there When the ladies came to anoint Him, their grief heavy to bear. They saw the stone was rolled away, and in a long garment of white Sat Our Lord, who told them " Go tell the disciples of My delight." Oh, yes. He's a friend in sorrow and rejoices when we are glad, Helps when we're in troubles, forgives us when we've been bad ... Helps us find the right path, when we're lost or gone astray. Just kneel to Him, as every knee shall bow, and He will lead the way. |
