| The Best is Yet to Be |
|
Though we are born in life lowly ~ Go through struggles slowly, We make progress when we look to see That there's a Savior and the best is yet to be. This Savior is Jesus, of great esteem. He is the answer to all people's greatest dreams. He came down and wore a crown of thorns, Instead of the one of worth; to which He was born. He listens to our plea, night or day; Just any time, to help us on our way. He's the millions of stars and moon's maker. He's our precious and great soul taker. He told us the beautiful story of life, All the troubles there would be to make strife. He told of the Throne upon where He would sit; How our souls, by His light, would be lit. He told us of a river of cool crystal blue. He told of a plan of Salvation for me and you. His word is true. You can count on all He had to say. He is the one who will lead us the Holy way. Have you heard the phrase 'The best is yet to be'? We will enjoy that, so dearly, when we reach eternity. Because of all the things Jesus said to me, I love most of all 'the best is yet to be'. |
