The Prize of A High Calling
Let us press onward, to the mark for the prize of the high calling ~
Lest, Lord, we stumble o'er and o'er and find that we are falling.
Help us walk upright, away from all enemies of the Holy Cross
That in that day of gladness and truth, we shall not suffer loss.

Let us rejoice in Thee, Lord, knowing Thou art ever our friend
And knowing any problem we have we can come unto Thee to mend.
I want to run the race, be in Thy Grace, now and even forevermore ~
Until the race is run, 'til the race is done and I'm on that Heavenly shore.

Being made conformable unto death that I might know Him in His power
Remembering His resurrection and the agony of His Mighty hour . . .
As He hung on the Cross with me on His mind, as He suffered and died
And the Temple rent into and the rain poured, with two thieves at His side.

Forgetting those things which are behind, reaching for the things before ~
Pressing forth toward the mark of the high calling, now and forevermore.
Let us be perfect minded toward our brethren , following our Lord this day
That we may not hinder others, who would follow our Savior this way.

For our conversation is in Heaven as we look at our dear Savior there,
Who shall change our bodies, as unto His own with robes for us to wear.
Robes white as snow upon the mountain tops today, as we gaze up above ~
Thinking of how sweet it is in Heaven and on earth to have His love.
