| Through Him She Lives |
|
There's a lady who happens, our 'child to be', you see, Loves her Lord with all her heart. One day, with Him she'll be, All the glory of Heaven, there with Him I know. I can see the light of Him in her eyes and know, one day, she'll go. She is such a trusting, forgiving person. One need not ask. She's already, in her heart, forgiven every task. Her heart is as pure as crystal, a hard life she has had; But through Him, enjoys the good and thrusts away the bad. She would forgive someone who hurt her, hug them close and say, "Let us think on it no more. Tomorrow's another day." She loves the little children, with all her heart and soul, Saving all from any harm through Him. This is her goal. I think, in Heaven, she'd try to love them all, hold them very near; Knowing, through Him, she lives, knowing He holds them dear. Lord, keep her safe, here on earth. Make her strong, again. She's not proud or boastful. Give her life meaning within. She loves her family and friends, would stay away the harm From anyone who is down or sends out a danger alarm; Taking on herself all she can bear, all good she gives To all, when through Him, our Kingly Savior, she lives. |
