| A Tree That's Planted By Streams of Water |
|
Just like a tree that's planted by the river, Ye shall bring forth good seed. For blessed is the man that sits not With the ungodly, to follow his deed Nor the scornful. But, let his delight be In the law of the Lord ,this day And forevermore, that he may sit in Gods Kingdom, where he'll ever stay. And he shall be as a tree that's planted By the rivers of water, indeed. He will bring forth fruit in season. His leaf will not wilt. Great will be his seed. All that ever he does shalt prosper. With him will be no fault at all, When he abides with the Father, or falls on his knees and gives Him a call. The ungodly are not so. But as the chaff, which the wind blows away, They shalt not stand in judgment, nor sinners; With those who do right today. In Gods eyes, all His people are precious As a tree, by the water, He hath planted. For God knows the way of the righteous, But the un-godly way is evilly slanted. A tree draws strength from the still waters. It grows mighty and strong, As do we, who put all our trust in our Lord. In our hearts, He puts a song ... To keep us following in His footsteps, Like a tree to grow great and tall; That when comes the drought, We shall not falter, neither fall .. But, shall be ever ready, On that eventful, glorious, coming of the day, When the Lord, Himself, shall gather us ... As doth a hen her chicks that way, Underneath her wings, so shall it be With our Savior and Holy King. Gladness and peace forever, Are the true blessings our Lord will bring. |
