Whispering Shadows of Love
There in the whispering shadows one night at the Altar,
I heard Thy whispering shadows of love, and did not falter,
But gave my whole heart and soul to be His own,
Knowing from Thy sweet word that one day I'd go home.
Just a whisper Lord that was all I needed of Thee that night,
For my soul had been hungry and searching for a wondrous light,
To fulfill my heart, make me want to fully live a life of love,
For the Son who gave His own dear life, from up above.

It was on a hill side that day, the way was so hard for Him to bear,
But after He died the death, he took the keys from Satan there,
And fulfilled the promise to the Father that He'd give his all,
I can see Him in my heart softly whispering, giving a call

Of welcome to all who love Him, in the whispering shadows of love,
Asking us to trust Him, He's building a home for us above,
Maybe beside Jordan's' river, or near the tree that's growing there,
With twelve manner of fruits, He said once a month it doth bear.

And Id like to walk in the whispering shadows of the garden, like An Eden,
Bountiful flowers growing there, but no tares or need for weeding,
Just glorifying a Savior, giving him all the wondrous praise above,
As we walk and talk in the whispering shadows of His love.
