Yes We Can Yield
I ask you now, how does it feel out in the Lord's field?
Is it hard to resist temptation, or easy to yield?
Seems it would be very hard, when temptation comes along,
Unless you keep your eyes on the Master, in prayer and song.

I know things seem so hard, at times. But one day soon,
We may see Him coming in a cloud, to take us home.
He will not lay more on you than you can bear. Try Him.
Put Him before your right arm, that the darkness won't seem so dim.

He is ever before us. He is our strength, our rock in life, today.
So don't give up for something easy to do. For, this is not His way.
We have waited too long to get the word spread in all the land
And, I know for some, God depends on us to give a helping hand.

He didn't want His Son to die. But, He let Him for our sake, that day,
To bear the old cross; a very heavy burden all the way.
And, He did die for our sins, has nail scarred hands for us to please
And went into the darkness of night, and from Satan took the keys.

So, yes. I believe you're in the field for the Lord, doing the work He bade.
Came back and rose again, in Heaven, there's a Mansions for you that He made.
Because you are faithful until the end, He will give thee a new name
That only you and God know, because you yielded your heart to Him the same.
