There's a very Special Father, Whom some may fail to mention; Who deserves our deepest gratitude and our sincere, utmost, attention. He gave us His only begotten Son; Who died upon the cross ... To give us everlasting life and for the sinners, who were lost. You know, it must have caused God pain; As He watched His only Son. With nails through His hands and in His feet, His suffering had begun. But, Jesus knew the sacrifice, As He hung upon the cross. He also knew His Father loved Him, too. So, He didn't count the cost. Now, here I am on bended knee To thank you, Lord, and pray ... To honor You and Your Son, too; On, "Your Special Father's Day."
