Poems

Come Unto Him
A day is coming, and you may be sure,
When things not eternal will cease to endure.
All will be new (pure, clean and blest),
Good separated from all of the rest.

God's watching and waiting, only He knows the day.
Jesus is ready. But, God has the say.
I want to be listening, when I hear the sound.
I'd like to be first, with my feet off the ground.

Oh, I hope you are watching, expecting the day!
For, He will come quickly. There'll be no delay!
The trumpet will sound. He'll call out His own,
Take us to Glory and a beautiful home!

Already, the Savior well knows your name.
Already, He's paid the full price for your gain!
Oh, come, brother, sister. So simple and clear
Is the way to be instantly safe and secure!
