| David |
|
Little David, shepherd boy, Sleeping there beneath the stars - You may not know it, yet, but God Knows the wonder that you are! Just because you had to fight To save your flock from enemies, You were strengthened, in your soul, And did for God a mighty thing! Little David, with his sling - Goliath (great and mighty, tall, Armored, and so highly trained) Fell the hardest of them all! Little David, now the King, Still can play the harp and lyre, Sing the songs of God on high, With the Spirit's mighty power! |
