Who put that baby in the river? Who watched him, there, in love? Who drew him from the water? (Who was watching from above?) Oh, Moses, you are gifted; Feeding at your mother's breast. Grow strong and true, dear Moses. Life will have an awesome test. You'll be out there with the shepherds; A Prince upon the plain. But, you'll be asked to go see Pharaoh. You'll be asked, again. Can you lead the children out To the promised land? Can you climb up on the mountain And receive the Lord's command? Can you feed them in the desert? Can you teach them to be true? Oh, Moses, what an awesome task There is for you to do! |
