| Prince of Peace |
|
I know You'll break the eastern sky And light the darkest night. I know Your dead will rise up first. Your shout will call them into flight. I know we'll see You as You are, That we shall be like You! I know! I know! But, just right now, Please, Lord, let me see You true. So great will be that final day When time is nullified, A dazzling day with wrong's made right And all is purified. But, there's a hill before me And a pebble in my shoe. So, just for now, please, Lord, remain. I need to walk with You. You see, I find a comfort and a Peace I crave, these days, When You come close beside me And stay awhile, I lay ... My burdens there (You tell me to). The load is lightened as we share. The Prince of Peace gives comfort For the things that I must bear. "Learn of Me....My yoke is easy..." |
