Rainbows in My Tears

No one can see my rainbows.
For, others are on the wrong side.
God shines His light out through my teardrops,
Providing prisms of light.

When God shines His light in the waters,
His beautiful bow appears ~
Speaking always of promises given;
Steadfast love through the years.

And it's said in the regions of Glory,
Only the wounded can serve.
So, I thank God for all of my teardrops,
Watching just beyond the curve ...

For the one who is needing a smile,
Through the tears,
And a few encouraging words.
