| Sunday School |
|
Little ones and Sunday School Seem to go together. I'm so glad for those who come, Heedless of the weather ... Learning about Jesus, Happy in the Word, Hiding Jesus in their hearts With new truths that they've heard. I'm so glad for moms and dads Discussing life's great questions; Sharing time together, studying Life's eternal lessons ... Lessons learned from mothers, Recorded in God's word, Bringing light in situations; Standards different from the world. Do you know, some little children Have been known to tell their dads And their mothers about the Saviour And the plan that Jesus had? Moms and dads have found the Saviour Just because their boy or girl Picked up that Book, on Sunday, And attended Sunday School! I know some little children That have opened parents eyes. "And a little child shall lead them," Says the Book that gets first prize! Children, too, have problems That need His guiding light. In Sunday School, we all receive A special deep insight! Some would say it's 'baby sitting'. Could I 'baby sit' the world?! For, little people all deserve To have His truth unfurled. And, some of us are forty And may just have seen the light! Come to the school, we have on Sunday, And receive His truth and might! |
