| There are Those |
|
There are those ... Who have encouraged me Through the pages of a book, And others, with compassionate eyes, Portrayed in just a look. There are those... Who, with a gentle touch, Conveyed a Christian care. I knew, without a word, my name Would be mentioned in their prayer. There are those ... Who brought a word from God, With Spirit revealed truth. Along life's path they're sprinkled, Way back from my youth. I pray the world will always have These warriors. Though it seems, These days, the road is weary With long way in between. When I look inside myself, I hope that I have been Someone used to encourage And to be a special friend. For, I've received such blessing! To pass it on is good; To be a faithful warrior like Our Savior said we should. |
