| Wild Seas |
|
The waters of the Lord are deep And, when the gales begin, I snuggle deeper, deeper, Until I'm lost in Him. For, the turbulence that travels, Across the surface wild, Cannot reach deep and trouble His, fully, trusting child. Were I on top, my eyes would hold The pictures of despair; Just like Peter's wonder at The violence with care. But, when you're resting deeper down, It doesn't bother so ~ And you'll find wisdom widens as you go! So, draw me deeper, deeper, Lord. Keep my eyes fixed on You 'Til, when the sudden wind appears, I'll know just what to do! Draw me, by Jesus' precious love, To deeper, richer, life with You. Bring strength and victory that day, Because You promised to. |
