| You don't understand |
| "You don't understand what I've been through," I overheard someone say. But neither did they know where I had been Or what I had been through today. I had just run away from "You don't understand" To try to find peace of mind. Far, far away from the life I was in-- Leaving pain and frustration behind. So don't tell me about "....don't understand"! I've had my share of pain. But something inside me always whispers, "Get up-- Stand on your feet again!" There once was someone out there Who hurt much worse than you do; But He didn't say, "You don't understand." He asked Daddy to help him through. In asking for help as He went along And turning loose of His sorrows, He learned to accept whatever happened today And stopped worrying about His tomorrows. What would have happened, when Jesus was here, When they hung Him to die on a tree, If He had yelled ,"Traitors, look what you've done Because none of you understood Me!" If you're fighting this battle of, "...don't understand" In your Bible your answer will be, Let go of your past-- and pray hard like I did-- To find now ---I understand --Me. |
