| My Blessings |
|
I sit in quiet reflection, At the end of a perfect day, Counting the many blessings God, lovingly, sent my way ... The birds, the trees and flowers, The beauty of a placid sea, A trickling mountain stream Bringing quiet serenity. As I ponder on God's creation, I feel my tensions ease. Surrounded by such bounty, My heart is filled with peace. When the twilight has fallen And stars are shining bright, I count my blessings, yet again, In the velvet dark of night. |
