| Because He Lives |
|
Jesus came to save us from Satan and the pains of hell. Dragging that heavy cross, He stumbled and fell.
His hands were nailed to a dogwood tree.
Accused falsely for things He didn't say or do;
In the garden of Gethsemane, He knelt and prayed on bended knee ~
"Father, let not mine, but Thine will be done."
Into His Father's hands His spirit did flow.
He arose and came back, in Spirit,
Welcome Him into your heart and let Him live and stay. |
