Thanksgiving Blessings

Thanksgiving blessings
Come from above;
Gratitude from Jesus,
Sent with His love ...

A father praying, at the table,
For his bounty, so full,
A mother teaching her children
The golden rule ...

As dad thanks Jesus,
With a smile on his face,
For all that has been given
To his family and for his grace

A mother baking and the smell
Of her pumpkin, apple, and mince meat pies;
Thankful for her children.
They are the apple of her eye ...

Love and blessings
All gathered in,
A house full of laughter,
Filled to the brim.

As we, as a nation, come together
On this thanksgiving day,
Let us fight for our freedom and
Let it be in our hearts forever to stay.

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.
Give your praises to God
And let the whole world see ...

See a better tomorrow,
Right around the bend.
My prayer this thanksgiving is for all that lost
Loved ones, to let there hearts all mend.
