What You Leave Behind When You Go

Is your life a reflection of Jesus and His love?
Are you pretending to be a Christian and
Worshipping someone else, instead of the one above?

Are you reaping just what you sow,
Wondering what path to take
And the right road to go?

Jesus asks us for a commitment,
To free us from darkness and sin.
By our fruits are we living the same as Him.

Do we reflect love, respect, gentleness, and have a kind spirit
Or do we show anger, spitefulness, hatred, and lust?
Do we belong to the world and all ungodly things in it?

When we leave this world,
What will others have to say about us?
Will they say we acted like the Master
And showed loyalty and trust?

Do you chose Heaven or Hell?
Everyone of us on earth has some kind of story to tell.

A story of right or wrong,
To what category do you belong?

What you leave behind will be uncovered for all to see.
Jesus gave you life and a commitment to Him will set you free.

It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you.
It's what you leave behind you when you go.
