| "While I was in college, a student gave me a copy of the New Testament. I read some pages from the gospel of Matthew. My interest grew and I began to read more and more, and so finished the four Gospels. During that time of my study, I felt as if God was speaking to me. I experienced the love of God. I did not know till then that God is so merciful as to forgive a sinner like me. When I realised it, I knelt down in my room and begged God to forgive my sins." | |||

When I was 17, I beat my mother up, and so she finally threw me out of the house. As I got on the train to leave, a friend handed me a New Testament that another friend had given her. I read the Good News, and I gave my life to Jesus. Overnight I became a different person! I now help my mother with her business. She too is now a Christian, and I'm going to college." Tanya
