"My birth-day-girl"

By Moses Meriga.

Waiting for the day to wish her,
Morning star and the rising sun,
I could see a new day. wanting to meet but, sorry! invited only after sun set.
I can't wait any longer I know that she won't be there yet,
My heart was longing to see her.
Rushed-up, carrying the word of God that she was created in the image of God.
To sweeten her lips with milk chocolate bar,
walking on the road side thinking that she will be , I got closer to her house.
Praise the Lord brother!
that was her Dad he took me along to the dwelling place, where she lives.
I was seated, waiting for a miracle to happen like an angel to appear instantly.
tring ,tring !tring ,tring !
hello !brother Gary,
"Sorry, birth-day-girl isn't here" father replied.
My heart shrank Oh, no! it was an open eye dream.
