Poems

Cat and Mouse

by Aaron Dolezal

Leave me be cat.

I only wanted a piece of cheese.

Your owner may have sent you after me,
But why listen to that old coot?
Please leave me be cat.

My dear mouse.
You are just looking too...

Tasty today.

Plus I must listen to that old coot.
The old coot feeds me and not you.

My dear mouse.

Just give up.

I promise you will not feel a thing.

Ha! My dear cat.

You must think I have cheese between my ears.
I am not that stupid dear cat.

I am off now dear cat.

WE.

.WILL.

.MEET.
.AGAIN
