Celebrating Friendship
by

Marie Williams

Today, I'm celebrating.
Friendship came my way.
Some friendships come quite subtlety,
Others clothed in great array.

The rose, in all its beauty,
Kissed by God's sweet dew,
Flourishes and blushes.
Sunlight rays reflect her hues.

Just like the blushing rosebud,
Inner beauty is revealed.
In your golden heart of giving,
A harvest it shall yield.
