Ever wonder which way to go, Even though the road is paved and Seems to show the direction to take ... But something, in your heart tells you "no"? Ever wonder, who to trust, and believe? But, you have been burned before And people leave. Test the spirit, the word of God does say. See if they are true and do it God's way. Do not exempt yourself from this process, But with a spirit of awareness. Know, what the word of God does say And, if not, pray, pray, pray. Ask the Lord, for wisdom From His throne. He gives it liberally, Completely, and totally If you hear His instruction And follow without hesitation. Seek his word and read with expectation; With your whole heart and attention - Keeping his commandments, without rejection. This will make a safe decision And definite prevention Of making the wrong decision He will make the way known. For those in obedience, needing patience, He sends a message, just as this, To give you hope and to help you cope But, never forget to do it His way. God is not mocked And we reap, what we sow. So, let your life be a testimony to show. You did it God's way With blessings that overflow; Without sorrow for today and tomorrow. The Key to know what to do, In each and every situation, Is to trust God, in faith. He will get you through. Just make the connection. To Do it God's way, Hear what His word does say and, With Him, you will always find your way; As you also remember to pray Each and every day. So, relax. Don't be so intense. This is just common sense, Without pretence and no offence. I think you hear what I'm trying to say, When you do it God's way. |

Deuteronomy 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. II Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. Luke 20:21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Father, I bless your Holy name and enter into your presence with hope and faith in my heart. I pray that, as this message and prayer goes out, the words (the heart of you), my Lord, will be revealed to your people. For your mercy and kindness is everlasting. Lord, I just sense the longing you have for your people ... that, through the ages, you have desired that we would do things your way; keeping your commandments and seeking you for counsel. And if we do, as you promise, it is well with our soul, and for the generations to follow. For, the truth is taught and it sets us free; and we are blessed, for our obedience. Lord, I am reminded of the world's perception and even a well known commercial, that says, "Just Do It..." Do whatever you feel, if you feel like it. I know, your wisdom has taught me that those kind of thoughts lead to destruction, sadness, and a sense of disorientation. The enemy comes in to kill, steal, and destroy; and, as you say, for there is no peace for the wicked. Lord, there is something to be said about living life in you. For, it is abundant and there is a sense of well being, with peace and joy that only comes from you, my dear Lord. I guard my heart by what Christ did on the cross. For, the sacrifice was so great, it cannot be taken for granted and, by your word and your truth ~ that gives me hope and strength. For, you are God, the King of Kings, and nothing is too hard for you. I believe that with all my being. My desire, as I grow in you, is that I will, completely, be fulfilled in who you are. Yes, this is my desire; to love you, my Lord, with all my heart, soul, and mind. And, I pray, as I surrender myself to your ways, you will show me more and more of who you are so I may understand. For now, and for always, I pray. I am content and I will trust you to make the way. Order my footsteps as I submit, in obedience, to do things your way. In Jesus' name, Amen. Psalm 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. |
