Eagles Wings
by

Donna J. Kazenske

When the storms of life
Decide to come my way
I'll spread my wings
And I'll fly away.

I'll rise up to the heights
Where only eagles can fly
I'll keep my watch
With my keen sharp eyes.

I'll soar without effort
No flapping of wings
Dipping and diving
I'll rejoice and I'll sing.

The wind of the Spirit
Way up in the sky
Remember it got there
By the storm clouds of life.
