I'm going to shine, With a light from my Lord. He touched my soul and, Like the eagle, I am able to soar. He said, "Let go of your Troubles and all of your pain, My child. for, when you will do this, All of eternal life you will gain" Lord, the light You gave me Shall shine forever. Your loving me and caring about me Shall leave me never. You, Lord, have entrusted me With the precious light. For this day and for ever more, I give you my heart and soul, Lord. For this is my solemn plight. I'm going to shine With a light from my Lord. He touched my soul and, Like the eagle, I am able to soar.
