Mind VisionWritten by

Debra W. Higley....

Come with me and see.

Can you see the flowers along the pathway ?

Can you see the trees along the mountain ?

Can you see the birds up in the sky.

How they float so gracefully without a care.

Now sit down and close your eyes.

Do you still see the flowers with their petals as yellow as the sun, Do you see the blues in the sky?

And the oranges and the reds that are as beautiful as the mornings dawn?

Now with your eyes still closed can you still see the trees along the pathway?

How tall and sturdy they stand, as their branches reach up to the heavens to let God know how beautiful they are.

The trees in response say; I give shelter and warmth to all Gods small creatures.

We give shade with the touch of sun light to the delicate petals of Gods painted ornaments scattered all about the world.

We give an arm to rest upon from a long flight in the sky, for all Gods free spirited fliers.

Now my friend with your eyes open can you see that we can be like the tree.

With our arms opened to give forgiveness, understanding, and few words of comfort for each passing day.
