| Musical Deluge by Noelle Swan |
| The music brings the memories back Those peculiar pleasant memories Of unpleasant awkward stories At my eardrums vibrations peck Flirting with the nape of my neck Sound and brain waves intermingling Till entwined helix is singing Creating life in its own way Spinning hope, keeping thoughts at bay Following the strands of music Like flames would chase after a wick My mind is fueled by the sound waves Navigating my darkest caves Dodging thoughts of fear and hatred Finding only what is sacred Spreading their roots down to my soul These lyrics fill a barren hole So in these notes I seek refuge Hiding in musical deluge |
