My Mom
This is a poem I wrote when my mom died in 1998. I only realised how much she had taught me about life and how to stand on my own two feet. I know she will be teaching angels how to love.
High there mom it's only me The youngest one of the three You brought me up to be strong Always taught me right from wrong Even when you'd scream and shout And thought I was a lager lout I know you cared Without a doubt Even when you had your fears You never let us see your tears Thankyou mom for looking after me And the granddaughter you did not see I know that we will meet again Love forever until then. ©RICHARD MARTYN
