| Not far away by Jacklynn MacKenzie |

I am always close beside you I am never far away - I am close as your heartbeat, Mom Each hour of the day. Though you cannot see me, I know you feel me near, Though I do not speak to you - Though my voice you do not hear. I'm there when buds burst forth Beneath Springtime's warming sun, And in the Summer, I am close by As you walk beside the seashore Under the clear blue sky. In the Autumn when leaves are falling, I am close beside you, Mom; I am just a whisper away from you As the north wind is gently calling. In Winter's falling snow I am there - I walk beside you everywhere; We're never, ever far apart, For I am always in your heart. So Mother, Dear, don't cry for me, I'm now a part of Infinity; Beyond the grasp of human hand, I'm here with God in His Heavenly land. But I'm always close beside you - I am never far away - You'll always feel me near you Mom 'Till in Heaven we're reunited someday. |
