Ooo Mother Africa, Ooo Mother Africa, How sweet you are How beautiful, wonderful, faithful you are You are the queen of the world And your crown shines like the morning star And because you so blessed It is said you are the greatest among your sisters. You produce timber, coffee, cocoa, honey, milk And many more to feed and make your people happy. But how selfish and hypocritical they are. They hate their people but rather love Those of your sisters They ran to where milk and honey flows But did not know how it is been made. They always say "grass is green at their feet" But they forget that grass is greener at their feet. You have the richest gift ever known. Work hard and you will be the hero of the world. |
