She knows that he is coming The man she loves to hate He returns to her once again He has been worse of late Every time she looks at him Anytime she dare He doesn't need to say a word He hurts her with his stare. She knows whats going to happen When he comes home tonight She knows again what is to come And she knows it isnt right While once again he takes her While she cries her silent tears Hes rough and violent with it It only confirms her fears. But when hes finished with her She slips from the bed they share And sits alone in the dark Safer now she's not there He wakens and calls out to her He wants her one more time She answers obediently to his call It's not her place to mind. So once again he has his way And she knows its not his last But if she does just as he says It will be over fast. The pain is not just physical Its in her mind as well But she will never let it out There's no one she can tell Will anybody save her Can anyone stop this pain Is there someone out there To gently call her name. All she wants is loving To feel needed by someone She has so much love within her heart All to give one man. |
