Sitting At His Feet
I was given away, the day I was born,
To someone greater than man ~
To share my life with those I love.
For all my life, I belong to God above.

I was raised to respect others,
To lend a hand to those in need,
To kneel and pray by their side
As they, too, will sit at the feet of our Lord.

When my journey in this life is over
And my eyes closes one final time ~
When my heart stops beating, don't worry about me
'Cause I'll be sitting at the feet of my Lord.

There will be angels at the gate to greet me,
And He will welcome me with open arms.
There will be family waiting to see me
And we will sit at the feet of our Lord

I'll stand by the gate to wait for you,
No matter the time of the day.
We will walk thru the garden, together.
Then, we will sit at the feet of our Lord.
