A STEPPING STONE

Don't cry "Sis", one day it will be better.
You will look back and no longer feel the pain.
It's hard to see you hurting so.
Knowing that you've loved in vain.

It's his loss you know.
The fault it is not yours.
Try to remember the happy times.
And then, on him close the door.

Life is for the living, and
no matter what the pain.
There's still much to be thankful for.
And you will love again.

This is but a stepping stone.
To a better life ahead.
You'll find someone to share your dreams
and cherish you instead.

I love you Sis.
