A Stronghold of God

I have found a place of safety and comfort, surrounded by the arms of God. My faith is constant, my hope always ready. Love waits to jump into action, but held in check by obedience to Him. All are tempered within Gods timing, for only He has total control over them. We have learned a delightful two-step together, He leads, I follow. I feel a knowing of my God, draws me closer still. Acting in concert, His Spirit knows His heart. My choice, to always follow,and do as bid. For this choice, He protects, He comforts, He gives His love. I have no personal concept of humility, I know of it,but believe it just "is". Define it, no I cannot,because it is hidden behind an unseen veil. More a condition of the heart, than anything seen. It is now a time of putting all the years of faith together. With age comes His comfort, and that Haven, of those encircling arms, that soft voice. I thrill myself,in knowing Him, hearing Him, and His choice of Loving me as His son. "God be merciful to me a sinner."        Luke 18:13
