The Greatest Mistake

All of us are appointed a time for our death
The spirit is freed but all else must be left
The same holds true when it pertains to life
Predestined with purpose to choose glory or strife

The conclusion is drawn from our choice in-between
From our birth until death, what did our life mean?
We're not born just to die, we're here for a reason
Forsake not your calling, we have but a season!

Eventually every physical body must die
Will you allow your purpose in life to pass by?
Shouldn't we make a difference while we are here?
Let one cry with joy from our old saddened tear?

Can't we press for our mark and help someone believe?
Planting good seeds of faith before you must leave?
The only thing left when you've gone on to glory
Are those seeds that have grown to tell of your story

We all have to die but what's the worst you can do?
It's to not complete what you've come here to do!
So to be born and die without fulfilling your call
Is the greatest mistake you could make of them all!
